Reebok's New Lifestyle Sneaker: A Sneak Peek
Reebok has quietly unveiled a fresh walking shoe that doubles as a lifestyle sneaker, and it's already causing a stir. The DMX Series 3000, a nod to the brand's pre-2000s design language, is a modern twist on the late 1990s DMX Miramar model. With a textile and mesh-based upper and synthetic leather, this shoe is designed to be both stylish and comfortable. But what sets it apart is its innovative underfoot cushioning, combining Reebok's DMX moving air technology with DMX Comfort+ foam for a soft and responsive ride.
The DMX Series 3000 is marketed as a walking shoe, and Reebok partnered with Teaneck, New Jersey retailer Packer to launch the White/Gray/Yellow colorway, which quickly sold out. However, this isn't the first time Reebok has used the DMX Series 3000 name. In the late 2010s, the brand offered various DMX Series models, including a different shoe with the same moniker.
Reebok recently made headlines by signing Grammy-winning artist Karol G to a multi-year partnership. She's already been the face of the brand's 'Born Classic. Worn for Life.' campaign. While the exclusive Packer style is sold out, the DMX Series 3000 is now available in a colorful Sport Citrus/Black Berry/Gray makeup from overseas retailers, and a triple-black version is available on reebok.com. The shoe retails for $130 and has several more releases scheduled throughout February and beyond.
